Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Monte-Rosa and Matterhorn. Take the bus to Täsch and continue with a taxi (9,- CHF/per person) to Zermatt. You can wander around freely in Zermatt or:
A ) take the open-air cog train up to the Gornergrat ridge.
B ) Drive to Riffelalp and enjoy an easy walk from Grünsee to Findeln and Zermatt in about 3 hours.
Take the train from Betten to Bettmeralp and continue to the Bettmerhorn on the cable car. Enjoy the glorious views on the Aletsch Glacier and the Valais Alps. Multimedia show about the Glacier. Return by train to Bettmeralp. Take Bettmeralp or Riederalp train back down into the valley.
Drive to Brig and over the Simplon Pass to Stresa. In Stresa you can make a boat trip to the Isola Bella. About 140 Km, travel time approx. 3 hours.
Drive through the Goms area, over the Nufenen Pass in Ticino to Airolo, then over the Gotthard Pass to Andermatt and back over the Furkapass in the Goms region to Saastal. Approx 210 Km and 4 ½ hours travel time
Drive through the Rhone valley to Lake Leman, visit the castle of Chillon and stroll through the streets of Montreux.
About 135 km, 2 hours travel time
