Location and directions

Arrival by car:
Motorway Basel – Bern – Thun – Spiez / Road to Kandersteg / Car train to Goppenstein. Then Visp - Stalden – Saas OR: Motorway Basel- Bern – Lausanne – Martigny – Sierre . Then road to Visp – Saastal. * The road to the Saastal is open to traffic during the winter, but you will need winter tyres. * Information concerning the car train: Autoverlad Kandersteg – Goppenstein (Tipp: return train ticket from ADAC costs 25 Euros). * From the middle of June until the end of October the routes over the alpine passes are open. Arrival by train:
Train passengers will have to change to a bus in Visp or Brig. There is a connection every hour until 20.30 (from Visp) in the evening. Passengers to Saas-Almagell must then change to another bus at Saas-Grund (bus stop: Postplatz). Our hotel lies just by the entrance to the village next to the bus stop ‘Lehn’. Location
Detached and in a sunny and quiet location in Saas-Almagell, close a variety of recreational activities, the small Almageller Lake, crazy golf facility, a new children’s playground, bocce pit-pat etc. In a walking distance of 50 m you will reach the village centre, where you will find the bus stop, post office, grocery store and some sports shops. Within 150 m you can easily reach the chair lift, and also sports grounds for tennis and football. The many beautiful walks also start in the centre of the village. The leisure centre with a swimming pool is in Saas-Fee (3 km).
